I mainly eat raw veggies and all I had was that burger with “cheese”, I’m going to leave that at that. I don’t want to accuse anyone of anything but I was a bit gassy the next day and that only happens when I eat dairy. The burger was gone after the first bite. The burger was pink on the inside which also threw me off because it already looked like a traditional burger but for it to mimic a medium rare burger was strange. The fries were cinnamon sugar sweet with almost like a marshmallow sauce which completely threw me off.

Anywho, I had a burger and sweet potato fries. She seems to be having some kind of electrical issue and that’s not fair for her. She was very patient with whomever it was on the phone because she kept answering the same questions multiple times, bless her heart. When I went there the owner was dealing with a difficult catering order, I’m assuming, on the phone so I had to wait a few moments before she took my order. There were also indoor tables for those not listening to the band.I am looking forward to getting back to Cottonmouth frequently! They routinely have live music including jazz afternoons or evenings on Sundays. The atmosphere at the outdoor music area was delightful - sparkling lights strung above, gorgeous huge old Florida trees, great murals, charming building. Some delicious regional dishes on the menu and a nice variety. They seem to have a happy loyal following there judging by the friendliness between the staff and customers. The live music was awesome! All seats were close to the musicians the sound was wonderful. There was plenty of street parking - easy even for me! The neighborhood was well lit with lots of art and other window shopping on the short walk from my car What a great scene! The staff acted like it was great fun meeting us and taking care of our orders. It is in the Village of the Arts neighborhood of Bradenton. I visited Cottonmouth for the first time last Friday. In general, we enjoyed the dinners, but weren’t blown away by the appetizers or drinks, which were ultimately pricey for what you got. The batter that the shrimp and fish were cooked in were delicious. The mahi mahi, shepherds pie, fried shrimp, and fish and chips were all fantastic. In terms of meals, this is where we were all impressed. We’ve definitely had better and it should really have been served with something better than the crackers that were provided. We did also order the fish dip, and it was just okay.

They were good, but would have been much better if they were hot or at least warm. In terms of the food, we were provided with a basket of dinner rolls to start. Our waitress was attentive, nice, knowledgeable and checked on us frequently. There was a happy hour available until 7pm, but nothing that blew us away or that was notable.

It was fairly busy, with most of the tables occupied. This was unlike any traditional pub that we’ve been to. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner experience at O'bricks and were pleasantly surprised by the food and service.
